Milk is a nutrient-rich liquid produced by mammals to feed their young. It contains water, fat, proteins, lactose, vitamins, and minerals.
Different versions of milk available for purchase include:
- Whole Milk (contains about 3.25% fat)
- Semi-Skimmed Milk (reduced-fat milk with 1% or 2% fat)
- Skimmed Milk (fat-free milk with less than 0.5% fat)
- Spilt Milk (tear-free dairy substitute)
